Our task was to quickly create an entire brand for an internal communications app which would be used by the Directors to update staff all around the world on the goings on within the company. There was an opportunity here to grow the client's understanding of their own brand. Being an internal app the chance was there to experiment and push the boundaries of their brand while establishing a relationship with the decision makers of the company.
We worked fluidly as a small team pushing different ideas and developing possible routes while gaining essential feedback from the client to see what landed and what didn't. During this process we found they were more open to experimental colours and direction than we initially suspected after delving into their brand guidelines. By pushing them a little further than expected we ended up with a more exciting result and also a few lessons that we could apply to our next project.
